An Unwavering Horizon

A moody trout is a dead trout, Burial at Sea​my grandfather said, his lower lip stuffedwith a wad of wintergreen chew. Mist flowed across the water as he pulledthe oars gently. I watched every move, tookin every word from my seat atop theorange boat cushion, feet smalland squirming in the gum bootschosen from a jumble in Grandpa’s shed.

I was also thrilled recently to be featured in my local newspaper here in Lake Oswego, Oregon!

Presales are underway for ‘An Unwavering Horizon’, poet Gina Williams first full-length collection of poems Lake Oswego writer and poet Gina Williams has released her first full-length collection of poetry. Titled “An Unwavering Horizon,” presales of the collection are underway through March 6, 2020. Books will be shipped May 1, 2020.
